The funds are available through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, which pays bills directly to the energy company.

I-49 work, paving to close lanes

Placing bridge beams over Interstate 49 will require closing all southbound lanes for multiple 15-minute periods in Benton County this week, according to Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department officials. Workers will close the lanes between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. between Wagon Wheel Road, Exit 76, in Springdale and Arkansas 264, Exit 78, in Lowell.
