Rogers is a city located in northwestern Arkansas. The city was named in honor of Captain Charles Warrington Rogers who was vice president and general manager of the St. Louis-San Francisco Railroad, also known as the Frisco Railroad. When the Frisco Railroad arrived in 1881 the town was established, naming itself after Captain Rogers. The city was the site of the first Wal-Mart, the world's largest retailer. Rogers is also home to the headquarters of Daisy Outdoor Products which is known for its air rifles.
