I-49 work to shift lanes over 2 days

Construction associated with a $38.7 million project to widen Interstate 49 in Rogers will require shifting a traffic lane onto newly constructed pavement today and Saturday, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said. Northbound traffic will be moved onto the newly constructed left lane on a 2-mile section in the vicinity of Perry and New Hope roads from 9 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday, weather permitting.
