84-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in Poway Collision

An 84-year-old woman fatally struck by a bus outside an assisted living facility in Poway has died, confirmed the San Diego County Medical Examiner. On Friday, Oct. 13, Rose Heames was hit in front of the Sunshine Care Assisted Living Facility, according to the Medical Examiner.

One Person Rescued From Van After Crash in Poway

One person was rescued from a van and at least two were taken to the hospital after a crash in Poway Friday afternoon. The van appeared to be from Sunshine Care, a care facility for seniors with dementia and Alzheimer's, according to their website.
