"King of Death" heroin supplier sentenced to life in prison

NORFOLK, Va. - Kenneth Stuart, 44, was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison for leading, organizing and supplying a heroin and fentanyl trafficking conspiracy Court documents say Stuart, also known as "Bones," served as an out-of-state supplier for a Virginia based heroin and fentanyl drug distribution ring led by Chesapeake ringleader Erskine Dawson Jr, also known as "June" and "Junior."

Mother, boyfriend charged after 2-year-old girl found dead in Norfolk

Norfolk police say two people have been charged in connection to the death of a child in the East Ocean View section of the city. The child's mother, 23-year-old Shelby R. Love, and her boyfriend, 33-year-old John Tucker Hardee, have been charged with felony child abuse and neglect.
