After extensive negotiations with AT&T, Lakewood City Council recently granted easements allowing for this summer's installation of fiber optic equipment boxes in the corners of the Winterhurst and Madison Park parking lots, as well as behind the Warren Road plaza. "The easement basically creates approval for AT&T to place their boxes at very specific spots that are mutually agreed upon to meet their connectivity objectives and also our public safety and neighborhood aesthetic goals," Mayor Mike Summers said.
