The sex abuse case against a renowned Cleveland theater actor that lingered for more than 6 years ended Thursday with the actor being sentenced to two years' probation on reduced charges. Expect delays as West Shoreway down to one lane eastbound for 10 days

Motorists traveling eastbound into the city on the West Shoreway can expect delays staring Friday at 10 a.m. when inbound traffic is reduced one lane to allow for pavement work. The pavement project will affect the West Shoreway between Lake Avenue and the Main Avenue Bridge, and is expected to last until July 17. "We do anticipate delays, so we're asking people to plan ahead and use alternate routes like I-90 if they can," said Amanda McFarland, spokesperson for the Ohio Department of Transportation District 12. Similar repaving was just completed on the westbound lanes, and that work was finished three days early, according to McFarland.
