Laguna Niguel names Stephen Erlandson interim city manager

In advance of City Manager Rod Foster's coming retirement, the city named finance director Stephen Erlandson as interim city manager effective July 25. City Clerk Eileen Gomez confirmed Erlandson's appointment a day after the council met in closed session on Tuesday, July 18. In addition, Debbie Bell, who serves as the city's management services director, has been named as the interim assistant city manager. She succeeds Dan Fox, who now serves as city manager in Diamond Bar.
