Metro Parks gives golf course another infusion of cash

The Blacklick Woods Golf Course continues to lose money for Metro Parks, and the district has to shift funds from its general fund to make up the difference. The Metro Parks board of commissioners voted Monday to transfer an additional $125,000 from the general fund to the golf course.

Demolition begins at Veterans Memorial

While some in Columbus were just waking up this morning, a piece of the city's history was coming down. Crews began the first public stage of demolition at Franklin County Veterans Memorial today, starting work that should leave the site bare by the end of March.

$2 million lawsuit says Judge O'Grady harassed former employee

A former Franklin County Municipal Court employee has filed a federal lawsuit that accuses Judge Jim O'Grady of making sexually explicit comments in her presence and creating a hostile work environment after learning that she had spoken about the incident. The lawsuit also says that O'Grady and other city employees, including Judges James E. Green and Carrie E. Glaeden, took retaliatory actions in response to her concerns.
